Legal Consultant – Technology Law

About the role

Axiom is seeking an experienced Legal Consultant specializing in Technology Law to support global clients on IT, digital and data projects across APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support on IT/digital and data projects, including system/software acquisitions, implementation, cybersecurity and data compliance.
• Negotiate technology contracts and handle data privacy matters under Hong Kong and Mainland China laws.
• Assist with commercial and IP work, drafting and reviewing general commercial contracts in close collaboration with senior business stakeholders.
• Potentially support HR/employment related matters when required.

Required profile

• At least 7 years’ post‑qualification experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on technology law.
• Comfortable dealing directly with senior management, working autonomously and providing guidance to team members.
• Strong fluency in English; Chinese language skills are a bonus.
• Employment law experience is a plus but not essential.
