Legal Officer / Paralegal

About the role

The Legal Officer / Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to the Legal Department, assisting lawyers and team members across a variety of legal, corporate governance, and administrative matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support lawyers and team members in legal, corporate governance, and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, forms, and correspondence with accuracy.
• Coordinate trademark matters internally and externally across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct preliminary legal research and deliver initial assessments on assigned issues.
• Maintain an organized system for managing, tracking, and retaining legal documents and records.
• Review, update, and manage contract registers to ensure compliance.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and legal standards.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and assignments to support departmental and business priorities.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a sizable organization; multinational experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related discipline.
• Experience or knowledge in trademark matters (preferred).
• Mature, proactive, and professional with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools; strong computer skills.
• Job title negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
