Management Consultant - Cybersecurity and Digital Risk

About the role

Wavestone, a global consulting firm with over 1,000 cybersecurity experts, is hiring a Management Consultant for its growing Hong Kong office, which is expanding due to market demand for technology and cybersecurity consulting. The role suits consultants with 1-3 years of experience and offers a fast-growing career within the Asia business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Drive projects covering cybersecurity, digital risk and technology consulting, including IT strategy, digital transformation, data governance and business transformation.
• Autonomously manage projects, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues to management when needed.
• Develop and deliver presentations communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
• Foster client relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity.
• Support business development, such as drafting and presenting proposals.
• Contribute to internal initiatives supporting the growth of the Asia business unit.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, Analytics, Cybersecurity, STEM or another relevant field.
• Prior consulting experience including project management, change management, organizational transformation and process re-engineering.
• Solid consulting skills, business acumen and project delivery capability.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, communication and analytical skills.
• Ambition to grow both consulting and technical skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of IT, with a strong preference for cybersecurity topics.
• Project management and change management experience.
