Paralegal – Debt Capital Markets

About the role

Join a leading law firm’s Debt Capital Markets team in Hong Kong as a Paralegal. You will provide comprehensive legal support to partners and associates, ensuring smooth execution of debt issuance transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners and associates with day‑to‑day tasks in the debt capital markets practice.
• Proof‑read, translate, and draft Chinese disclosure documents and English business disclosures.
• Prepare and file debt listing applications and related legal documents such as resolutions, minutes, announcements, and closing memoranda.
• Compile due‑diligence questionnaires in Chinese and coordinate with auditors and other professionals.
• Support daily deal execution, manage document filing, and liaise with transaction parties.
• Help create pitch books and other client‑facing materials when required.

Required profile

• LLB/LLM/JD in Law preferred; other backgrounds (English, Accounting, Finance) also considered.
• Prior experience in DCM, IPO, or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent Mandarin and highly proficient English with strong writing ability.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
