Personal Trainer – Happy Valley Clubhouse

About the role

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to work at its Happy Valley Clubhouse. You will guide members through safe exercising techniques, help them achieve fitness goals, and ensure a high‑quality experience in a world‑class sports facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one coaching, ensuring proper body alignment and technique to minimise injury risk.
• Observe client performance, give constructive feedback and motivate through positive reinforcement.
• Assist clients in setting and reaching fitness and health objectives, referring to other specialists when needed.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, maintain a clean and organised gym, and report any incidents.
• Administer first‑aid, treat minor injuries, and refer serious cases to medical professionals.
• Stay updated with the latest training methods and introduce new programmes to members.
• Collaborate with managers to develop marketing and business strategies for fitness services.

Required profile

• Certified Personal Trainer with recognised qualifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate clients.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness and professional standards.

Required skills

• ACSM, AFAA, NASM, ISSA or ACE certification.
• Les Mills, Yoga, Pilates or Spin certification.
• First‑aid and basic injury management.
