Senior Clinical Research Associate (Office-Based, Hong Kong)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join its Hong Kong team. This is an office-based position in which you oversee and manage clinical trial activities so that they follow protocol, regulatory requirements and industry standards, while ensuring data integrity, participant safety and compliance across the study lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues and support successful trial execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs.
• Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, nursing or medicine.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects at once, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel at least 60% of the time (international and domestic, fly and drive) and a valid driver's licence.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
