Prestige Insurance Sales Manager II

About the role

Hang Seng Bank is seeking a high‑calibre professional to lead its Prestige Insurance Sales team within the Wealth Sales Distribution network. The role focuses on coaching, strategy, and performance management to drive insurance sales across its branch network in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Implement advanced coaching techniques to motivate staff and reinforce learning on the job.
• Guide branch insurance specialists and develop tactical sales strategies.
• Monitor and improve sales processes to enhance channel efficiency and customer experience.
• Elevate the capabilities and professionalism of the sales force to boost customer satisfaction.
• Manage team performance, ensuring high sales quality and professionalism.
• Apply control measures to minimise the bank’s risk exposure.
• Adhere to Group compliance policies and internal control procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven retail banking experience with strong knowledge of insurance products.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong leadership, coaching, presentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Passes Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination; professional qualifications such as CFP, CFMP, QRA or CFA are advantageous.
• Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to manage complex interactions.
• Demonstrated situational awareness, eagerness to learn and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Professional qualifications like Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) or Certified Banker (CB) are a plus.
