Principal – Client Solutions (Private Wealth)

About the role

Hamilton Lane is seeking a Principal, Client Solutions for Private Wealth to lead business development and prospecting across Hong Kong and Taiwan, focusing on private banks, bank intermediaries and other wealth platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development and deepen relationships with private banks, intermediaries and wealth platforms.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospect identification through onboarding and portfolio development.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to expand Hamilton Lane’s private‑wealth footprint.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in the CRM system.
• Coordinate presentations, meetings and RFP responses with internal stakeholders.
• Represent Hamilton Lane in client meetings, ensuring clear follow‑up and high‑quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with marketing and events teams to support regional conferences and seminars.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute market insights to refine regional strategy.

Required profile

• University degree (B.A., B.S.) or advanced degree (e.g., MBA); professional designation such as CFA or CAIA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services or private markets, with a strong track record in wealth‑intermediary distribution.
• Demonstrated success in business development and relationship management with private banks or similar platforms.
• Business‑level proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Highly organized, deadline‑focused and able to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using AI‑driven tools for analysis and presentation.
• Strong CRM system usage for pipeline and client management.
