Procurement Associate (2-year Fixed-term)

About the role

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking a Procurement Associate on a two‑year fixed‑term contract to support the launch of new procurement systems and ensure smooth procurement operations across the district.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in system launch activities, including data cleansing, mapping, checking and user acceptance testing.
• Review and update procurement‑related databases, ensuring accurate data entry and follow‑up with internal and external parties.
• Prepare procurement reports by consolidating data from databases and user inputs.
• Handle supplier registration and update requests, respond to enquiries and provide support.
• Support users of the Finance ERP and procurement e‑tendering system, as well as other platforms.
• Facilitate roll‑out of new policies, guidelines and system initiatives, ensuring compliance.
• Assist in creating presentations, training materials, web content and other documentation.
• Support procurement processes and execution of assigned procurement activities.
• Contribute to knowledge networks and best‑practice communities.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Authority.

Required profile

• A recognised degree, preferably in purchasing and supply management, business management or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement standards, regulations, processes and experience with e‑tendering systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
