QA Engineer – Blockchain

About the role

Binance is looking for a senior QA Engineer to own quality assurance for its blockchain‑related backend services. You will work closely with developers, product managers and support teams to ensure that new features and large‑scale data pipelines meet the highest standards of reliability, performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies and ensure high‑quality product delivery.
• Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test plans, cases and scripts for APIs, databases, micro‑services and distributed systems.
• Identify, analyse, track and report defects, performing root‑cause analysis and verification.
• Conduct performance, security and scalability testing for backend services.
• Lead big‑data QA initiatives, including automation framework setup, data‑comparison scripts and release‑process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of QA engineering experience with a focus on backend testing and automation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Programming: Java, Python, JavaScript.
• Automation tools: Selenium, JUnit, TestNG.
• Testing of APIs, databases, micro‑services, CI/CD pipelines and full SDLC.
• Big‑data technologies: StarRocks, Kafka (plus experience is a plus).
• Test management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr.
• Cloud/Container platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Performance, security and AI/LLM‑assisted testing.
