Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will own the quality of Apeiron's case‑management and distribution platform for high‑net‑worth life insurance, as well as a suite of supporting production systems. You will be the first dedicated QA in a fast‑moving team, shaping testing processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Translate structured behavior specifications (Given/When/Then) into comprehensive test cases, checklists, and test data, including edge cases.
• Perform end‑to‑end testing of the case‑management platform across the full insurance journey, from enquiry to policy issuance.
• Execute role‑ and permission‑based testing to verify access boundaries for internal staff and external partners.
• Validate calculations, generated PDFs, and bilingual (English/Chinese) document outputs down to field‑level mapping and cent‑level financial figures.
• Report defects in numbered batches with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and expected‑vs‑actual details; retest fixes and run regression before sign‑off.
• Own User Acceptance Testing cycles: prepare test data, scripts, and coordinate acceptance with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on testing experience in production web systems.
• Ability to dissect specifications, design breaking test cases, and write reproducible defect reports.
• Comfort working in a lean team with ownership of testing strategy.
