Quality Control Manager – Electronics Components

About the role

The client is a global provider of electronic component sourcing and supply‑chain solutions. They are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the ISO 9001 QMS, ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage incoming, in‑process and final quality inspections for electronic components and broker‑sourced parts.
• Review technical datasheets, verify component authenticity and coordinate quality investigations.
• Lead internal, customer, supplier and certification audits and oversee ESD control programmes.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions and inspection standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage third‑party testing reports and maintain documentation in ERP systems.
• Mentor and develop the QC team, establishing KPIs and aligning quality initiatives with business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in QA/QC within electronics, semiconductor, EMS or component distribution.
• Proven people‑management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams.
• Fluent English communication; Cantonese or Mandarin an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and audit management.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic component inspection, counterfeit avoidance and quality verification.
• Familiarity with ESD control programmes and component testing methodologies.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
