Sales Assistant – Retail Operations

About the role

The Madison Group is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the daily operations of its flagship concept store, House of Madison. This role involves direct interaction with customers, handling after‑sales inquiries, and ensuring the shop environment reflects the premium standards of the luxury lifestyle brands represented.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, after‑sales queries and greet walk‑in customers.
• Maintain product knowledge to assist customers and support shop operations.
• Prepare sales presentations, quotations and record meeting minutes.
• Set up and maintain shop displays, lighting, temperature and keep the workspace tidy.
• Manage stock of brand catalogues, material samples and stationery.
• Order and serve refreshments to customers.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and handle ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in front‑line customer service, hospitality or retail is advantageous.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professional demeanor.
• Team player, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating shift basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using POS systems and ability to learn new software.
