Security Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer at Island Shangri‑La, Hong Kong, you will oversee access control, conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies, ensuring a safe and secure environment that reflects Shangri‑La’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage access control points and perform routine patrols throughout the hotel premises.
• Respond to emergency events in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintain overall hotel security, protecting guests, visitors, employees and hotel assets.
• Project a professional, efficient and reassuring image to all guests, visitors and staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant security experience, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.
