Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor leads the daily security operations of Island Shangri‑La, Hong Kong, ensuring a safe and reassuring environment for guests and colleagues. This role combines team leadership, compliance monitoring, and guest interaction to uphold the hotel’s high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the security team to deliver effective day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure all security procedures adhere to established standards and hotel policies.
• Provide practical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maintain consistent departmental standards.
• Maintain excellent guest relations, promptly handling inquiries and reporting any security‑related complaints to management.

Required profile

• Certificate or higher qualification in Security Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the hotel or security industry.
• Valid Security Personnel Permit.
• Ability to assess risks and conduct independent security reviews and audits.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
