Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to act as a strategic legal partner for our Group. In this senior role you will shape business decisions, strengthen governance, and ensure compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level legal advice and strategic support to senior management and cross‑functional teams on complex commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, aligning legal guidance with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively communicate implications for the Group.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and training programs.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 8‑10 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with both law‑firm and in‑house exposure in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
• Experience in listed‑company compliance; familiarity with Hong Kong Listing Rules is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of working independently while providing guidance and leadership within the legal function.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
