Senior Manager – Data Services & Analytics

About the role

Lead the bank’s data strategy, analytics and AI enablement initiatives, acting as the primary liaison between business units and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into effective data solutions and oversee enterprise data services and platforms.
• Drive adoption of Data‑as‑a‑Service (DaaS) to support analytics, AI projects and business innovation.
• Manage end‑to‑end data projects, including requirements gathering, onboarding, mapping, testing, deployment and post‑implementation review.
• Design, develop and maintain data marts, warehouses and lake environments, and build scalable pipelines for reliable, secure data delivery.
• Partner with stakeholders to uncover insights, develop customer segmentation frameworks and enable self‑service analytics through dashboards and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with AI and technology teams to create trusted, AI‑ready datasets and ensure data governance, accessibility and accuracy.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data management, BI, analytics or data warehousing within banking or financial services.
• At least 3 years of management experience leading data, analytics or technology teams.
• Strong understanding of banking data domains, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale enterprise data initiatives from strategy through implementation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on data engineering, ETL development and data integration.
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or DBT.
• Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Proficiency in BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
