Senior Mobile App Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Mobile App Developer to develop, enhance, integrate, and support our internal mobile applications. You will take ownership throughout the full application lifecycle—from technical design and development through testing, release, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will work in an AI‑assisted engineering environment, using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to accelerate development, improve code quality, and support documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance cross‑platform mobile applications for iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS.
• Design and implement application architecture, user interfaces, API integrations, local storage, data models, and synchronization processes.
• Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs, backend systems, authentication services, push notifications, and third‑party platforms.
• Optimise performance, stability, speed, and user experience, and conduct testing, debugging, and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage versioning, code signing, store submissions, releases, and updates for all supported platforms.
• Monitor production applications, investigate crashes or performance issues, and implement preventative improvements.
• Leverage AI development tools to support coding, refactoring, documentation, testing, and technical problem‑solving while validating output for security and performance.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on mobile application development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering and supporting production mobile applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities; detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Fluency in English; French, Cantonese or Mandarin are a plus.

Required skills

• Flutter and Dart.
• Cross‑platform development for iOS, Android and preferably HarmonyOS.
• RESTful API integration, JSON handling, authentication flows and push notifications.
• Backend knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, MyBatis and relational databases.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and familiarity with npm, Webpack or Gulp.
• Git and collaborative source‑control workflows.
• App store submission processes, code signing and versioning.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
