Senior People Advisor

About the role

The Senior People Advisor will provide end‑to‑end HR advisory support to market leaders, people managers and employees in Hong Kong. You will act as a trusted partner on employee relations, wellbeing, immigration, remuneration, exits and compliance, while driving an inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver people‑process services such as salary/bonus reviews, performance management and employee engagement planning.
• Coach and develop people managers to enhance employee experience and reinforce company values.
• Support diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives and act as an advocate for an inclusive culture.
• Analyse workforce data, identify trends, ensure statutory compliance and produce accurate reports.
• Lead country‑level projects and contribute to regional initiatives.
• Provide remuneration guidance, ensuring market relatability, equity and fairness.
• Offer local market insights on labour trends, equality, diversity and talent development.
• Identify, assess and mitigate HR risks while ensuring compliance with legislation and data‑privacy standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in engineering, professional services or advisory environments.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proactive, self‑driven with a strong ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) – advantage.
