Senior Procurement Manager – IT Focused Team Lead

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager will lead a global team responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing IT and related services. This position shapes category strategies, drives continuous improvement and partners with technology and business stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category, sourcing and commercial strategies for IT hardware, software and services.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key software vendors and industry stakeholders.
• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection and contract negotiations to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Coach, develop and manage a team of procurement professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience, with strong IT procurement exposure.
• Proven ability to develop and implement category strategies in large, complex organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
