Senior Product Specialist – Specialty Care

About the role

Astellas Pharma is seeking a Senior Product Specialist to support its Specialty Care portfolio in Hong Kong. You will work within an inclusive, innovative team that delivers new medicines to patients and physicians while balancing on‑site collaboration with flexible hybrid work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver field promotion activities, communicating key medical messages and product value to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain continuous contact with doctors and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and achieve sales targets.
• Analyse market data, treatment patterns, competitor activity and identify growth opportunities.
• Initiate or support academic events such as workshops, disease‑education meetings and direct‑to‑consumer programs.
• Develop new market segments to sustain and expand market share.
• Collect local product safety reports from healthcare professionals and forward them to the medical department.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a life‑science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry; ophthalmology experience is an advantage.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work within budgetary and regulatory constraints.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, combining office presence with remote work.
