Senior Strategic Account Manager

About the role

KPay Group is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow its major client accounts across the fintech platform. The role combines strategic account oversight with team leadership to drive revenue, retention and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic management of major merchant accounts, focusing on revenue, GPV growth, upsell and cross‑sell pipelines.
• Build and stabilise a high‑performing account team, including hiring, onboarding and allocating merchant portfolios.
• Set, monitor and achieve agreed team KPIs and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date CRM records.
• Conduct weekly team rituals, provide coaching, support complex deals and handle escalations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in key account management or strategic sales.
• Proven leadership or team‑management experience.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Solid business acumen and analytical capability.
