Senior System Administrator – Infrastructure & Platforms

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior System Administrator to join our team and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our enterprise infrastructure. You will work across Windows and Linux environments, virtualization platforms, and core identity services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V or Nutanix.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related identity services.
• Maintain enterprise storage, backup, restore and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, capacity monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce infrastructure standards, security hardening, monitoring and documentation.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Coordinate with application, network, security teams and external vendors on operational issues and projects.
• Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• ~5 + years of hands‑on system administration or infrastructure support.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware or other enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Active Directory, enterprise storage and backup technologies.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
• Proven ability in monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents under pressure.
