Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner

About the role

ActAI is seeking a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to independently own challenging technical searches and hire top‑tier engineering and AI talent worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical searches across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure and engineering leadership.
• Build talent maps and sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill roles at leading AI startups, tech companies, research organisations and technical communities.
• Identify and headhunt high‑quality passive candidates rather than relying on inbound applications.
• Deeply assess technical profiles to understand candidates’ actual contributions and relevance to ActAI.
• Partner with engineering leaders to calibrate hiring standards, refine target profiles and improve interview processes.
• Manage and close senior candidates through compensation discussions, competing offers and complex negotiations.
• Use recruiting data and market feedback to spot pipeline issues and continuously improve search strategy and conversion.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus on hiring software engineers and other technical talent.
• Proven track record of independently delivering difficult technical hires through proactive headhunting.
• Solid understanding of software engineering disciplines and ability to evaluate technical profiles beyond titles and keywords.
• Strong sourcing capability across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, communities and networks.
• Ability to advise hiring managers using evidence from the talent market rather than merely executing requests.
• Excellent candidate management, negotiation and closing skills.
• High ownership, sound judgement and rapid execution speed.
