Sr. Associate, Supply Chain Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate to lead demand signal generation and forecast management within its Supply Chain Planning team. You will create and publish consensus demand plans, analyze forecast performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and actionable demand insights.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish consensus demand plans using statistical forecasts and segmentation.
• Track forecast accuracy, bias, and volatility; perform root‑cause analysis on forecast errors.
• Define baseline forecast methodology, statistical parameters, and documentation of commercial inputs.
• Identify demand shifts that require S&OP attention and trigger cross‑functional trade‑offs.
• Collaborate with Commercial, S&OP, S&OE, Supply Planners, and Analytics to align assumptions, scenarios, and KPI definitions.
• Provide monthly demand submissions, support trade‑off discussions, and lock demand plans at decision cut‑offs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, or a related planning function.
• Proven experience in demand forecasting, forecast management, and inventory planning.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess forecast performance and drive improvements.
