Volunteer Distribution Client Care Assistant

About the role

This volunteer position supports the Hong Kong Distribution Centre by welcoming clients, assisting with the selection of donated goods, and ensuring a smooth, respectful experience for families in need.

Key responsibilities

• Commit to a minimum of 3 months, volunteering at least one full day per week (10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1‑hour lunch break).
• Handle client and NGO inquiries via phone or email.
• Welcome onsite clients, guide them through the donation selection process, and collect feedback through surveys.
• Assist beneficiaries in filling orders, coordinate logistics, and prepare items for distribution.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse, including light lifting and cleaning tasks.
• Enter stock data accurately into the inventory system.

Required profile

• Hospitable and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to perform occasional heavy lifting (helpful but not essential).
• Commitment to the scheduled volunteering hours.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry.
