Steward Attendant

About the role

The Steward Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the food & beverage outlets and the team members’ canteen kitchen at Nina Hotel Kowloon East. Reporting to the Restaurant & Bar Manager, the role ensures all kitchen equipment, utensils and dining ware are cleaned to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, surrounding spaces and canteen facilities according to the supervisor’s schedule.
• Supply all F&B outlets with sufficient operating equipment.
• Wash cooking utensils, pots, pans, trays and miscellaneous items by hand using cleaning detergents.
• Operate dishwashers and glass washers to clean dishware, glasses, cutlery, melamine wares and dining equipment.
• Maintain kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators and ice‑making machines.
• Polish silverware and goldware to a shining finish.
• Dispose of rubbish and food waste to the designated garbage room.
• Assist with stock‑take tasks as requested.

Required profile

• Primary education or vocational training, preferably in a cleaning or hospitality field.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of handling cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ability to understand simple English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Physically fit, neat, tidy and service‑oriented with a pleasant disposition.
• Good working attitude, able to work under pressure and aligned with the group’s core values.
