Surveyor - Landfill and Facilities

About the role

Veolia Environmental Services (Hong Kong) Limited, part of Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, is looking for a Surveyor to prepare three-dimensional topographical modelling, design, working and as-built drawings for landfill and other facilities, and to control all survey activities. The post is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3D topographical modelling, design, working and as-built drawings for landfill and other facilities
• Control all survey activities
• Establish and maintain systems and procedures to ensure the quality of the survey team's work
• Ensure equipment is maintained, repaired and calibrated as appropriate
• Make sure surveying and drawing functions meet operational standards, contractual requirements and financial targets
• Keep up to date with standards and trends so that cost impacts and developments in surveying and drafting can be anticipated
• Ensure site works comply with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Safety Management System where applicable

Required profile

• BSc in Surveying or another job-related discipline
• Construction Safety (Green Card) training
• Chartered Land Surveyor status is an advantage
• 5 years of hands-on experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese

Required skills

• Familiarity with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, drone deployment and Land Desktop for high-quality drawings and 3D modelling
• Familiarity with other computer software is essential
