Sustainability Manager – APAC

About the role

The Sustainability Manager, APAC will drive SSP's sustainability priorities across the Asia Pacific region, turning Group commitments into clear regional plans, market actions and measurable outcomes. The role leads performance reporting, climate and sustainability programmes, and supports markets in embedding sustainability into business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the annual APAC sustainability plan, translating Group priorities into regional and market actions, milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor performance against sustainability KPIs, identify gaps and risks, and work with markets to implement corrective actions.
• Lead end‑to‑end APAC sustainability and GHG reporting, ensuring data quality, validation and timely submission.
• Project‑manage climate reporting programmes, track milestones, manage risks and support compliance with emerging ESG regulations across APAC.
• Support purchasing and markets in supplier sustainability initiatives, responsible sourcing, packaging, waste reduction and community engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Finance or Sustainability.
• Relevant experience in corporate sustainability, ESG or climate management within a multi‑market organisation.
• Strong project and programme management capability, leading cross‑functional initiatives.
• Experience in sustainability and GHG reporting, data governance and performance management.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
