Sweater Product Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Designer to develop innovative sweater and knitwear products for our global customers. The role combines market research, design development and close collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct global market research to understand customer brands, needs and gaps.
• Stay updated on global market trends, new ideas, sweater knits knowledge and technologies.
• Work closely with customers to meet their requirements and exceed expectations.
• Produce innovative product designs and translate concepts into samples based on customer direction.
• Deliver product presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with the technical team for material sourcing in the market.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the sweater field; garment manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiar with design software – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, APEX.
• Attentive to details with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Based in Hong Kong with frequent travel to China and overseas.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Designer role.
