System Administrator

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage and maintain its Linux, Windows, SAN storage, and blade server infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, support internal and external users, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily administration and maintenance of Linux, Windows, SAN storage, and blade servers.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and user manuals.
• Prepare reports, technical documents, implementation proposals, and user guides.
• Collaborate with developers and teammates to provide technical support and advisory services.
• Provide 24 × 7 standby support for system incidents and emergency situations.
• Support applications teams, internal users, and external customers on system‑related matters.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Wintel system administration and support.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux and Windows system administration, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience managing SAN storage and server hardware.
• Background in large‑scale system implementation, migration, or infrastructure revamp projects.
