Systems Administrator – Hong Kong

About the role

The role is a hands‑on, office‑based position supporting both end‑users and infrastructure in a global quantitative investment business. You will provide on‑site assistance for hardware, software, mobile devices and trading‑floor technology while collaborating with global teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person support for PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile‑device management, videoconferencing, AV equipment and occasional data‑centre tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues together with global teams and external vendors.
• Maintain Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Investigate complex problems, administer infrastructure‑level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Practical systems‑administration experience across hardware, software, desk‑side, trading‑floor, AV, conferencing and remote‑user support.
• Strong research and analytical abilities with a curiosity for solving unfamiliar problems.
• Clear interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Availability to work on‑site Monday‑Friday, with occasional overtime, weekend assignments and travel to Singapore or Shanghai.
