Team Leader (RO)

About the role

The Team Leader (RO) will drive the development of new financial lines and employee‑benefits business in Hong Kong, focusing on corporate insurance opportunities. The role also leads a team, manages the pipeline and ensures performance targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new financial lines and employee‑benefits clients and grow the business in Hong Kong.
• Identify commercial opportunities through market activities, professional networks and direct client engagement, and translate them into a clear business‑development plan.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with insurer partners and corporate clients, coordinating suitable insurance solutions and ongoing service.
• Lead the team, manage the business pipeline and achieve agreed performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least five years of insurance experience and two years of management experience, including supervision of at least one team member.
• Strong commercial insurance sales or technical advisory capability; experience in financial‑lines sales or insurance brokerage account management is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop corporate clients, work with insurer partners and deliver measurable business results in Hong Kong.
• Fluent English for client discussions and bilingual insurance documents; working Mandarin sufficient for communication.
• Completion of Hong Kong insurance examination Papers 1‑5 and the relevant MPF qualification before joining.
