About the role

The University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine invites distinguished scholars to join its Global Professoriate Recruitment Campaign. Multiple tenure‑track positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor are available across a wide range of biomedical and health disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead independent research programmes that attract competitive external funding.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise research students.
• Contribute to departmental administration and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Strong publication record and evidence of external grant success.
• International recognition and a demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
• Commitment to inquiry‑based teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Required skills

• Expertise in one or more of the recruitment areas (e.g., bioinformatics, data science, AI in biomedicine, immunology, neuroscience, stem cell research, etc.).
