Track Attendant (Machinery)

About the role

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Track Attendant to operate and maintain the specialised machinery used for venue upkeep at Sha Tin Racecourse. You will work on race days and trial days, ensuring the track remains safe and in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain various types of track maintenance machinery.
• Operate track maintenance equipment to perform venue upkeep work.
• Participate in duties on race days and trial days as required.
• Provide training on track maintenance machinery to department colleagues.

Required profile

• Form 3 (or equivalent) education level.
• 3‑5 years of experience operating cars and machinery.
• Valid Hong Kong Class 1 and 2 driving licence.
• Certificate in Vehicle Mechanical Repair (preferred).
• Experience maintaining hydraulic systems and internal‑combustion engines (preferred).
• Valid Hong Kong Class 18 driving licence (preferred) and ability to handle administrative tasks.
