Travel Counselor

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Travel Counselor to join its Traveler Care team in Hong Kong. You will provide comprehensive travel advice and booking services to corporate clients, ensuring compliance with travel policies and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for individuals and groups.
• Conduct analysis of travel options, anticipate traveler needs, and promote additional services.
• Book air, road, rail, and accommodation using Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus.
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide positive telephone service, handle special requests, and resolve customer issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a travel management company or agency.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity with personal traveler information.
• Team‑player attitude with openness to feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus).
