Waiter – In‑Room Dining

About the role

Join Marriott International as an In‑Room Dining Waiter, delivering memorable dining experiences directly to guests’ rooms. You will be part of a Guest Service team that ensures every meal feels like a special occasion, from setting the table to final bill presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables for in‑room dining service.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate delivery.
• Interact with guests, answer menu questions, and provide courteous service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, supplies, and service equipment.
• Handle menu items, verify information, and ensure correct presentation.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb (and up to 50 lb with assistance), reaching overhead, and bending or stooping as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

Required skills

• Ability to follow company policies, safety standards, and uniform guidelines.
• Basic food‑service and guest‑interaction skills.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
