Business Development Manager – E‑commerce Startup

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing e‑commerce platform, is expanding and needs a Business Development Manager to drive new revenue streams and nurture key client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with strategic clients.
  • Identify and develop new B2B opportunities to grow the e‑commerce business.
  • Support internal teams in preparing proposals and leading client discussions.
  • Maintain structured tracking of leads and follow‑up activities to maximise conversion rates.
  • Travel occasionally to the United States for business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align solutions with client needs.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with e‑commerce exposure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, adaptable, and multitasking attitude.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese.
