Cluster Assistant Director of Finance

About the role

Join a prestigious private club collective in Hong Kong as the Cluster Assistant Director of Finance. You will drive financial excellence across three luxury private members’ clubs, overseeing planning, reporting, controls and business partnering to support operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations across three luxury private members’ clubs, including month‑end closing, financial reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, cash‑flow monitoring, accounts payable/receivable and payroll governance.
• Ensure robust internal controls, statutory compliance, audit readiness and financial governance while supporting the Cluster Director and Finance Business Partner in risk management, process improvements and transformation projects.
• Oversee finance systems, reporting consolidation, data integrity and process standardisation across multiple operating platforms to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders to provide financial insights, support decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, HKICPA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month‑end closing, accounting operations, internal controls, audit management, cash‑flow, payroll accounting, tax compliance and financial governance.
• Proven people leadership experience, able to develop talent, manage performance and drive engagement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with ability to partner with leadership teams, auditors, vendors and cross‑functional partners.
