International Tax Senior Officer / Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established multinational group with a strong presence across Asia and Europe, is expanding its tax team. The role provides internal tax advisory support to business units operating in multiple jurisdictions and offers significant exposure to international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an internal tax advisor, providing practical advice to stakeholders across international operations.
• Handle international tax advisory and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including Asia Pacific and Europe.
• Liaise with overseas offices, external tax advisors and local tax authorities on enquiries and regulatory matters.
• Monitor international and local tax regulatory developments, assess implications and advise internal stakeholders.
• Support the business on tax implications of new projects, transactions and cross‑border activities.
• Manage tax reporting, including provisions, budgeting, forecasting and internal reporting requirements.
• Support transfer pricing matters, including related‑party transactions, documentation and compliance.
• Conduct tax research and technical analysis for different jurisdictions to aid decision‑making.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• Relevant tax experience from a Big 4 professional services firm and/or an in‑house corporate tax function.
• Solid understanding of corporate taxation with exposure to international, cross‑border or multi‑jurisdictional tax matters.
• Excellent written and spoken English for frequent communication with overseas stakeholders and authorities.
• Strong research, analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills; proactive and detail‑oriented.
