Operations & Commercial Specialist – South HMT

About the role

The Operations & Commercial Specialist supports regional commercial and operational priorities across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and South China. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the role coordinates performance reporting, stakeholder communication and the execution of commercial tools and standards for both managed and franchised hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Track regional commercial and operations priorities, maintain dashboards, trackers and scorecards, and conduct first‑level trend analysis.
• Compile data for commercial and operational reviews, prepare concise summaries and support follow‑up on focus areas.
• Coordinate rollout of approved commercial tools, operating standards, training resources and programs with regional, property and COE stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support for business planning, campaign follow‑up, market reviews, meeting materials and performance reporting.
• Collect, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources, identify gaps, and present findings in clear visual formats.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Commerce, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in hospitality operations, commercial, sales, marketing, revenue management or business analysis, preferably with multi‑property exposure.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese, with professional proficiency in Mandarin; Cantonese and Traditional Chinese are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for property visits or regional meetings.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, basic analysis).
• Strong PowerPoint skills for creating management presentations.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query or similar reporting and visualization tools.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Ability to collect, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources and present findings concisely.
