Risk Consulting Experienced Hire – Financial Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) in Hong Kong as an experienced risk consulting professional. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to advise banks and financial institutions on regulatory compliance, risk management, and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects addressing HKMA, SFC, and global regulatory expectations on banking compliance topics such as client onboarding, KYC, investor protection, licensing, and sales practices.
• Design and assess compliance frameworks, risk assessment processes, policy management, testing, monitoring, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on fintech and regtech innovations, regulatory change management, and remediation of exam findings.
• Support mock examinations, policy drafting, and relationship management with regulators.
• Develop and revise policies and controls aligned with emerging regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, information systems, business, law or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banks, regulatory bodies, or international accounting/consulting firms with deep knowledge of banking regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Hands‑on experience with internal bank compliance functions and regulatory frameworks.
