About the role

Join EY's Assurance Financial Service Organization (FSO) in Hong Kong as a Senior Assurance Manager, leading audit engagements for banks, capital market firms, and other financial institutions. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver high‑quality audit and advisory services, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and knowledge‑sharing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assurance engagements for banking and capital market clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business decision‑makers.
• Provide guidance on complex audit procedures and ensure audit strategies address identified risks.
• Monitor engagement budgets, adjust plans as needed, and deliver value‑focused outcomes.
• Stay informed on economic developments and their impact on clients.
• Mentor and develop team members, encouraging independent thinking and accountability.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification (mandatory); CICPA or ACCA preferred.
• 5‑8 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm, preferably Big 4 or medium‑tier.
• Strong project‑management abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
