Senior Finance Analyst – FP&A & Business Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to lead business analytics, budgeting and forecasting activities across our manufacturing operations. The role will partner with finance controllers, business and operations teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, actionable insights and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior year.
• Support finance controllers in providing timely financial reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with Business and Operations teams to analyse performance drivers (volume, price, mix, yield, scrap, labor, overhead) and present insights across regions and segments.
• Coordinate budgeting and rolling‑forecast cycles, build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses for the 5‑year strategic plan.
• Maintain standard costing, conduct product costing analysis, margin bridge and cost‑reduction tracking for manufacturing sites.
• Develop and present business review materials for leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Drive reporting improvements through automation, standardisation and Power BI dashboard development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) and 6–8 years of progressive FP&A/management accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Big 4 or equivalent top‑tier audit experience.
• Strong commercial partnering ability and proven record of influencing non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Power BI (or other Business Intelligence tools) and knowledge of Power Automate.
• Experience with ERP systems and large data‑set financial reporting.
• Financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Standard costing and product cost analysis.
