About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a fast‑paced kitchen, preparing Italian dishes and ensuring smooth service. You will manage your section, maintain standards, and take ownership of back‑of‑house duties such as stock taking and staff training.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the kitchen for service, including staff and mise en place.
- Cook dishes promptly to restaurant standards.
- Support colleagues when needed.
- Maintain health and hygiene procedures.
- Manage and control stock.
- Oversee and train team members.
Required profile
- At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or 3+ years kitchen experience.
- Knowledge of Western cuisine, preferably Italian.
- Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset.
- Strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluency in English; other languages advantageous.
- Embodies values: teamwork, niceness, commitment, positivity.
