Technical Officer – Geotechnical Projects

About the role

Jacobs is looking for a Technical Officer to join its Geotechnical Projects team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate slope data, supporting site inspections and preparing inspection reports for slopes and retaining walls.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly input, update and maintain slope data and related maintenance records.
• Assist experienced team members during occasional on‑site inspections.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for slopes and retaining walls.

Required profile

• Certificate from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong or an equivalent qualification from a recognized technical institute or university.
• Proficiency in English equivalent to Level 2 HKCEE/HKDSE or higher.
• Proficiency in Chinese equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or higher.
• Open to candidates with no prior experience; candidates with more than five years of related experience may be considered for a senior role.
