Assistant M&E Business Development Manager – Hong Kong

About the role

As the Assistant M&E Business Development Manager in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for MICE business development for both short‑term and long‑term opportunities. You will work to achieve sales targets, build a strong pipeline and create a valuable information repository for business development and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Establish an industry BD plan, conduct regular sales calls and client visits to develop corporate clients, agencies and TMC partners.
• Negotiate proposals and quotations, follow up high‑value group projects and coordinate with the resort MICE team for delivery.
• Maintain key channels, including Fosun‑affiliated partners, to ensure order conversion and meet targets.
• Participate in tradeshows, industry events, FAM trips and client site inspections to generate qualified leads.
• Classify and nurture leads, maintaining both short‑term closing opportunities and a long‑term pipeline.
• Build and maintain an information repository for BD and marketing purposes.
• Ensure data accuracy of client, contact and project records within Salesforce and submit required sales reports on time.
• Utilise Salesforce tools to enhance efficiency and collect project media for a case library.

Required profile

• Solid MICE background, preferably with experience in a MICE PCO or DMC.
• Proven experience and an established channel network in Hong Kong outbound MICE business.
• Demonstrated ability in business development, client communication, proposal writing, negotiation and project coordination.
• Fluent in Cantonese; proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
