Senior AI Agent Developer – Software Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Senior AI Agent Developer to design, build, and optimise intelligent agents that automate business processes and enhance user experiences. The role combines expertise in generative AI, large language models, and enterprise‑scale software engineering to deliver scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop autonomous and semi‑autonomous AI agents using modern orchestration frameworks.
• Build high‑performance backend microservices, asynchronous workers and RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI.
• Create and maintain relational and non‑relational database schemas supporting AI workflows.
• Integrate curated enterprise data from Databricks, Azure Blob Storage and internal data lakes for retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines.
• Leverage Azure Cloud services (Blob Storage, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search) for model serving and data retrieval.
• Develop multi‑agent systems that collaborate to achieve business objectives.
• Implement AI workflows that utilise LLMs, RAG and knowledge‑management systems.
• Connect AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, ERP, CRM and workflow platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing AI‑driven software solutions at an enterprise level.
• Strong background in cloud‑native architecture, especially Azure.
• Hands‑on expertise with large language models and retrieval‑augmented generation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
