Senior Fire Services Engineer

About the role

Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) is seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Fire Services to monitor site activities, coordinate projects, and ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor overall site activities and liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in preparing tender documents, budget proposals, drawings and equipment submissions, as well as project coordination and management.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and subcontractors to ensure all site installation works comply with contractual and statutory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning of building services installations, and follow up on defect rectification work as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a background in Fire Services.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, especially in the Fire Services field.
• Proficient knowledge of building services installation and relevant statutory regulations.
• Strong project management, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Good command of both English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD.
