Technician – Building Facilities Team

About the role

The Building Facilities Team is looking for a proactive Technician to lead maintenance activities across stations and ancillary buildings. You will oversee both overhaul‑based and condition‑based maintenance programmes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team to execute overhaul‑based and condition‑based maintenance in stations and ancillary buildings.
• Inspect, verify and supervise contractor work on Architectural, Builder Works, Finishing and Plumbing & Drainage systems.
• Perform repair, modification, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Carry out condition monitoring and predictive maintenance activities such as vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, alignment correction, lube oil sampling, infrared thermography and ultrasonic detection.
• Participate in equipment failure investigations and coordinate modification and C&R works with contractors.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Building Services Engineering with at least 1 year relevant experience, or Diploma/Certificate with 5 years experience (or 2 years post‑apprenticeship).
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
